Victorville was incorporated on September 21st, 1962, located in the Victor Valley of San Bernardino County. It is located on the southern edge of the Mojave Desert, it borders the City of Hesperia and the town of Apple Valley. 

In 1926, U.S. Route 66 was established.  It runs through Victorville’s  D and Seventh streets, with a section of Interstate 15 going towards the Cajon Pass. It is the primary street through Old Town Victorville. The Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum was moved from Apple Valley to Victorville in 1976 and then moved to Branson Missouri in 2009.
